Orlando/ Universal Pictures

Universal Orlando Pictures

Florida/Universal Orlando Vacation Pictures

We're Back from our Fun Florida Vacation. We spent 3 days at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. The kids had lots of fun and so did Nathan & Allison. They got to see just about all the rides and amusements. I wish I could have posted all the pictures and also the ones we didn't capture on film. Tons of funnies and stories we'll remember for a very long time. Lets just say Nathan got up close and personal with JAWS!. It was hilarious. We could n't have planned it better. We took the kids into all the attractions and we got fussed at a few times by Allison for some of the scary ones but all in all I think it was a good experience.

After that we spent a few relaxing days by the pool in Sebastian , Fl. Followed by a hellacious 14 hour drive home. Next year we fly.. Not a chance of driving that again.!

The Office & Laundry Room in Progress

Peter's been busy at home

This is the work in progress that Peter has been busy with lately. The office got the cabinets that were in the utility room. He added the shelving in between. (They will be stained to match later)
The laundry room is just about done. We had plumbers in to rough in the hot and cold water but Peter hooked up the sink, installed countertops and hung the cabinets by himself. We've got to stain them and put doors and door pulls still but ALMOST THERE. I can hardly wait to fold clothes in there now. All I need is a laptop and some music and I'll be set.!

Allison's First Haircut

Here's pictures of the Haircut. She loved the idea of going to the "Beauty Shop".

Collierville Train Yard

Tracy & I took the kids to the train yard today.
It's a old train station where theyv'e got some train cars, dining cars, Caboose, Engine along with the the coal car and sleeping cars.
The kids had a great time looking around and playing.
The yard isn't open during the week only on Saturdays but hte lady inside was kind enoguht to open one of the cars. THe kids of course wanted to see it all. Had a tough time trying to explain why we didnt' get it to see everything. ANwya it's a really nice plac3e and the area surrounding it is the Historic Town square with losts of shops and restaruants . Tracy and I will have to go back one day by ourselves and make a day of it.

Pineville Trip

The trip to Pineville was great. We had a really good visit. And the kids got to hold Hudson and "pet him's head"....Alot. I think we've got him good and broke in now on the miller side..he should be just fine. Peter and Lory were unable to make the trip because of work and they were greatly missed. LeAnn & I managed just fine though.

Trip was short and sweet. However we were fortunate enough to gets lots of Family time in. We saw Nanny and Papa. Unlce Nicky (LOOKING GREAT btw. Keep up the good work!) and Aunt Linda. Unlce Steven( Hope old Arthur gives you a break soon!.) Uncle Peach(ALWAYS A HOOT!), Aunt Mary. Grandpa & Grandma Miller ( GiGi hope your balance comes back soon!) Unlce Mike and Aunt Martha. (Looking forward to seeing you guys up here agian!)

As you may have Noticed I cut off Allison's hair. Much to the disappointment of some but most everyone loves it as do Allison and I.

STRANGE BUT TRUE

BODY FOUND AT BIG BIRD'S NEST

by..Sarah Hall Dec 15, 2005, 2:05 PM PT
Sesame Street has been hit by a crime wave.
The body of a female jogger was found Tuesday on property belonging to actor Carroll Spinney, who plays Big Bird on the long-running children's series.
a d v e r t i s e m e n t

Social worker Judith Nilan was reported missing by her husband Monday after she failed to return from a run. On Tuesday, police discovered her body in a shed on Spinney's property and proceeded to charge the actor's caretaker, Scott Deojay, with kidnapping.
Officials were planning to pursue murder charges against Deojay, but as the shed where Nilan's body was found straddles the Massachusetts-Connecticut border, issues of jurisdiction were still being worked out. Another hearing in the matter was scheduled for Friday.
Police said Spinney, who plays Oscar the Grouch in addition to Big Bird, was not a suspect in the crime.
Investigators linked Deojay to Nilan's death after discovering the jogger's headband near a bloody receipt signed by the caretaker after purchasing items for Spinney.
There were skid marks near the headband and a bloody trail led to the shed, where Nilan's body was found tied up, her jogging pants pulled down and her head bloody where she appeared to have been beaten.
Police said the caretaker claimed he hit the woman with his car accidentally, then panicked. He claimed to have dragged her into his car, driven her to Spinney's property, tied her up in order to pull her into the shed, where he deposited her body.
The Massachusetts medical examiner's office was performing an autopsy to determine the cause of death and whether Nilan had been sexually assaulted.
After police questioned Deojay, he reportedly tried to hang himself in his garage, but cut himself down after his girlfriend called 911.
The caretaker was being held on $510,000 bail.
As of Thursday evening, Spinney had not commented on the case.

Hudson's Baptism Weekend

Well we got Hudson Baptised Sunday. We had a nice time and good break away. The Menz's even let us crash their Christmas party so we could see the baby. It was the first time for me and my first impression was that he was very beautiful and very content. Looks like everyone adjusting well.
That's all

Weekend at Pineville

Well we had a VERY short but exciting weekend at Shama's and Grandpa's house this weekend. WE arrived Friday afternoon and Grandpa got the bonfire ready for the 1st annual weenie roast and smore throwing contest. (Mom won!) WE had a great time and the girls drank all Dad's wine and then told stories by the fire.
Mom and LeAnn got an early start on their Saturday sleeping in and then we got up Saturday morning and went to visit GiGi and Paw paw. Always a nice visit and the kids ate cookies and ran and played in the backyard, Found out that paw paw has apparently been running people off the roads in Pineville and Alexandria.. Ha!
Then we went to the Shrine Circus and the kids tried very hard to eat all the popcorn cotton candy and sno cones they could find.
Sunday we went to see Nanny and Papa, Uncle Nicki Aunt Linda, Uncle Steven and Uncle Peachie and Aunt Mary at Nanny and papa's house. We ate thanksgiving dinner again. Thank you Aunt Linda and Uncle Nicki for that.

Zoo BOO

Zoo Boo this weekend. Me LeAnn and the kids went and had a great time. All the way we were serenaded by Nathan and Preston with lovely Halloween or as Nathan says" Hawowween" music. The kids saw a magic show and They all got to "pet" a Python..
Then we painted and glittered pumpkins and ate ice cream in 50 degree weather. Nathan and Preston tried hard as they could to eat all their "booty" before we got home.. We had a great time and it was worth the effort.... ( I guess) Earlier that day we went to the "Free " Southaven Old time Festival..Ate some funnel cake and the kids rode some ride$.

Field Trip with Nathan's class

Well I went on a field trip Thursday to Cedar Hill farm with Nathan and his kindergarden class. It was really nice to put faces with Names and I also got to spend some time with his teachers. The whole class loves her and seems as though she's very nice and great with all the kids. It was nice to just spend some quality time alone with Nathan. The farm was great as usual and The weather was perfect.
