Well went to the dentist today about Allison's tooth. Looks like it's going to make it. We were relieved that wouldnt' have to pull it. Only bad thing is that the gap will stay there and if they pulled that other one they could have put in a temporary partial that would have been prettier. But actually I 've gotten used to her gap. Never thought I would.
The Virginia Stapors are all go for the move to Mississippi. Looks like they'll be here and in the new house by the 26th.
Basketball court still here but I think I've been successful in getting the neighbors fired up about it and it should ride out all as planned. Peter is wanting to put more stuff in the petition and I dont know why, I told him if it's too long they wont read it and wont sign, but you know he doesn't listen to me.
WE also took a vote and the kids want a kitten. Peter is dead set against it but majority rules. I've waited long enough and I am ready for one as well. I think the kids would enjoy it.
Nathan has to be a good boy and not fight with Allison for a few days. (Yes I take every opportunity I can to bribe the kids) so we'll see how that goes. I can use that for a couple of weeks at least and have a little peace around here.
We've started the countdown to the first day of school. (August 8th) I am not sure that Nathan has any idea what the heck kindergarten is. I guess he'll figure it out pretty quick.
I took a snapshot of the weirdest thing today. We must have had a million dragonflies in the back yard this am. But the camera wouldn't pick them up. TOO BAD. It was kind of pretty and strangely eerie all at the same time.
Allison 3rd Birthday Party is August 6th. Bring your swimming suits!
That's all. Sorry the updates are so far between. We've just not done much. It's TOO HOT!

Basket Ball court DEBATE~
Hey. Sorry my page hasn't been updated in a while. Here's why! I awoke wednesday morning to the sound of a cement truck in the rear of our property. Apparently a neighbor of ours took it upon themselves to pour this HUGE basketball court in the MIDDLE of the common area in the rear of our house that we share. As you might imagine I was LIVID. I spent the entire day on the phone calling everyone I could think of to get this taken care of. Well come to find out that property is still technically owned by the developer. The neighbor told me she got permission from him to do it. Well I called him and he had no idea. Nor did she get permission from the furtre Homeowners association. I've pretty much been completely devoted to the cause of getting this thing torn out.. CAN YOU IMAGINE@!!! This court is now directly behind the kitchen window and the picture is from Allison's upstairs window. I confronted her about it and her "reasoning" was that to her it was a good idea for her kids and they miss their basket ball and she saw it as a "beautification" process of the common grounds!!!!!! Did I Mention that she NEVER said anything to anyone about doing this. I told her I was not happy that I didn't even get to voice an opinion about the court before hand. She told me and I quote......" OH well, it's already poured now. THere's nothing we can do about it"... BOY DOES SHE NOT KNOW WHO she's dealing with!

We, the undersigned homeowners of the Forked Creek Community, are concerned about the construction of a basketball court being built on common grounds behind the residence of 220 Forked Creek Parkway & 830 Amanda Cove. Our understanding is that this project was constructed without the permission of you. Also the homeowner’s in the community were not informed of this project in advance and were not allowed to vote for or against it. The covenants for this community clearly state “no boisterous activity in or around the common areas” For these reasons we agree that this project is not in the best interest of the residence of the Forked Creek community. We would like for the party who is responsible for the construction of the basketball court project to stop construction immediately and remove all concrete and construction materials from the common grounds. Also, please inform the party responsible the proper channels to follow the next time they feel it necessary to undertake such an endeavor on their own.
Thank you for your time.
